What this job is responsible for
- The plan, baselines, tolerances and change control
- RAID, RAG narratives and escalation paths that people trust
- Stage gates, business case alignment and benefits tracking
- Supplier and dependency coordination at project level
- Reporting that builds trust: options plus a recommendation for the SRO
- Assurance readiness for GovS 002, Green Book logic and IPA-style reviews
Signs things are going well
- Baselines are current, not outdated fiction updated the night before board
- Tolerances trigger action before a crisis, not after
- RAID is groomed weekly with owners and dates
- Agile teams are not asked for duplicate status theatre
- SRO decisions are logged; bad news never lands first in a big meeting
- Benefits have owners beyond go-live, and optimism bias is challenged early

- Change Manager: Owns adoption. You own project delivery of the enabling products and cutover plans.
- Business Analyst: Owns clarity of need and requirements. You own baseline impact when scope or assumptions move.
